Being the Rally was so close this year (372 mi) we deceided to attend, our youngest son (Karl) came down from Juneau Ak and we made the trip with a couple of friends, had a great time, the ride throught Wisconson was great, a beautiful state, took the backroads, hills, valleys, twists and turns. did not take many pictures of the ride as we were on the move. here are a couple of pictures of the rally,
Getting ready to leave.

Looks like the potential for fun is there. HHhmmm, close quarters camping - did that once...I don't snore, but MANY others do...take ear plugs for riding & sleeping...DN

Nice write up and pics! I must say, after meeting so many BMW riders, and some that rode others, everyone was so friendly and nice. It is A Family! 8)

I like both of your bikes - because I had a red K75s for 8 years, then a "mandarin" R1100S for 4 years. You've guessed it - I changed that for my black R1150R which I've had for the last 18 months! :D :D 8)
I agree also with your choice of camping spots. You seemed to have the best plot! :D
