High Risk Area ride.

After being successful posting my Chicken Shop Ride vid on YouTube I've done another.
Another test...It's about 5 minutes long...and it's a nice piece of road not far from where I live.
It's a downhill ride from Sassafras to The Basin....I had the camera mounted on my beak and stuck something over the mic to help stop the wind noise.

For some reason the quality is crap..The original is good..It must be the way I converted it..Next time should be better.

Put the camera down a smidge towards the road.
The asphalt is the fun.
Still using the trial version?
(I do too, I can't afford that high end software)

Thanks...Shame about the quallity...It looked very clear on my computer in it's avi format..It's just a small point and shoot Canon Ixus40..it has a movie mode.
I used a piece of Silly-Putty that I had squished it onto the center of the beak..pusted the camera onto it..and put some duct tap across it so it wouldn't fall off.
I agree the camera was pointing a little too high..I did two runs up the road and after pulling the tape off twice and realizing that it had not recorded (my fault) and after pulling the tape off and on a few times I lost he position that I had the camera in..I tryed one more time..this time going back down and it worked fine.
I think mounting it direct to the beak is not such a good idea now because it gets all the bumps direct onto it being unsprung..Next time I'll mount it to the fly screen in the same way and see if it's any better..I'll also try different settings on the camera.

It's a shame you had to ride that road so many times just to get good video...
"I forgot to turn on the camera" sounds like something a true rider would say to get back on that stretch of road.
