I have sent a pm asking about outcome of your cyl head problem. Anyone have his email that could bring this to his attention ? Thanks.

I did get a reply from BMWKidd as to the outcome of his june post about about a crack seen thru the intake port of his 1150r. I was seeing the same thing on my 1100rt. He had his evaluated by BMW (dealer?), and was told it was a casting flaw of no consequence unless there were problems with how it was running. He had none....I on the other hand have a build up of carbon in the throttle body for that head. Also my manometer shows vaccum on that side wandering while doing a tbs. So I'm going to pull it off and make sure there is no leakage of any kind. I'll post anything I find.
