Workshop Manuals

Good afternoon!

Yesterday my Rockster's ABS/servo system decided to pack up and leave me without brakes. With the help of a friend I managed to get them working again, but I think I might need to top up the fluid in the servo unit.

Unfortunately I have no idea where the servo unit is. Does anyoine have an emailable/downloadable copy of the workshop manual that I could purchase please?

Thanks in advance.

Cameron

Cameron,

I have an 04 1150R with ABS and have done my own brake bleeds following the procedures suggested in the links below. There are two separate systems that you'll need to bleed - control & wheel circuits. You'll need to remove the tank to get to the control circuits. The wheel circuits are like non-abs bikes and easy to do.

Riceburner,

Just curious why the pm rather than sharing the link with all of us? If all we did was pm the ones asking for help/info, this board would not be the incredible resource that it is.

Come on...share the link with all of us!

Tao - one of the links is one I got off this board anyway - the Oilhead owners advice pdf that has been around for a few years, the other was the official BMW workshop manual and it's 58Mb - I didn't fancy my webaccess being killed when my ISP noticed the bandwidth usage logs! ;)

Also the link could easily have been abused by hackers, I'm fairly cautious about stuff like that.
