Anybody have any experience with them. Seems a lot cheaper than the BMW alternatives.

I'll add 3 & 4:OlyVR wrote:Here's my personal opinion:
1) I usually don't like aftermarket bags, as the carriers are ugly, so I cannot ride with the bags off. (Have you noticed that these guys normally do not show pictures of their carriers).
2) BMW bags can be keyed to match the ignition, so only 1 key for everything.
+1 on the Chicago BMW suggestion. The best deal around.OlyVR wrote:I think you can do better than that at a dealer that offers 20% off (i.e. Chicago BMW) and get something that was made for the bike.
This link contains the entire catalog of Wunderlich bits for the R1200R, including the classic c0ckpit fairing. It's a pdf file, so it takes a minute or two to load:celticus wrote:The Wunderlich bags look like what Dr. Doom would have on his bike. I really like my BMW bags but they are heavy.
I looked on the Wunderlich site for their c@ckpit, fairing to no avail. Can anyone point me to it?

Thanks for the link, Allan. I could spend a fortune on their farkles! Does Wunderlich have a North American distributor, or does one order directly from Germany? How does that work, with the different currency and shipping time? Has anybody had experience going direct?AllanCook wrote:

I don't think they are allowed to sell direct, due to their agreement with BMW Santa Cruz.famousperson wrote:... Has anybody had experience going direct?
