A group of 5 of us got together yesterday for a nice day ride to kick off the season. I got up and, after losing an hour during the night to Daylight Savings Time, I left the house at 7AM. As I said there were 5 of us: 2 R1150GSs, my R1150R, a R1200RT, and a R1200CL cruiser. We moved along without too many pauses, except lunch, for most of the day and it was really a nice day. Some clouds, but very warm with the sunshine coming through here and there as the day wore on. I made it home right at 7PM, sore and smiling happily.

Pretty area. 400 miles of mountain 2 lanes is a very good day of riding! Much tougher than a SS1000 on Interstates IMHO(no offence to IB riders).

We have had a ton of rain since the NGR and I finally got my camping gear dry and repacked  I only got in about 250 miles this week so I am more than jealous.

Safe travels
