Cool air around throttle body

Hi,
Lately, when the engine on My 2004 R with 40K miles is warm/hot, the idle drops and engine runs rough. I put my hand near/around the left hand throttle tube and I feel cool air circulating around it. If I do this to the right throttle tube I don't feel that same cool air.
Is this a vacum leak? anyway to further troubleshoot

thanks,

Gene

Find a cigarette smoker and let him blow a puff on the left hand throttle tube.
At lest you will see where the vacuum leak is.
I think there is an O ring there that needs to be replaced.
Or just lube it and re tighten it.
Good Luck.

I am totally baffled about the cool air around a warm engine. (EDITED) Maybe it has to do with the intake snorkel there on the left side.

But for the:

I will take a guess...bad coils. You will find the testing technique in the threads below.

Here's one...

another...

and third times a charm...
