First ride

Post by iowabeakster »

The temp hit 69 today. The 7 day forecast has no snow, and plenty of rain to wash the roads.

Tire presure check... Brakes check... Both bikes fired immediately and never missed a beat. I didn't go far, but I do feel much better.
I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray...

Today wasn't my first ride of the season, but it was the first ride where I didn't look like an eskimo all bundled up riding down the road. It was nice to break out the old leather jacket and leather gloves for a change. Too bad it's supposed to rain here in Missouri for the next 5 or 6 days though. Maybe I can get out just once more tonight for a quick little ride..... :-k

Isn't it great?! It's gonna be 80 and sunny here in NC tomorrow. Did a bunch of work and errands today so I can hopefully head west for a bit tomorrow. \:D/

Enjoy & ride safe.

Hey, Columbia, which MO do you live in? :-)

Here in Cape, we had a bunch of rain a few days ago but it's been warm and sunny
since. Got cloudy with a cold front coming thru later this pm, but the rain just stayed
north of us.

From tomorrow / Sat thru Wed it's supposed to be in the hi 60's up to near 80 & sunny. Here.
YaHOOOO!!
