Tire Pressure Indicators

I have a 2007 R
Did a big raid last summer, about 11,000km
Changed my tires in Las Vegas at the BMW dealership
A few days later noticed that the tire pressure indicator; left side of the computer, which I believe reads the front tire: would not come up
After about 1/2 hour of riding the yellow warning light came on to say low air pressure.
So I stopped and checked, all fine
This kept happening all the way home to Toronto.
Took the bike to the dealer for the 40,000km service, and told them about the problem
I left the bike in the shop for the week, but they could not find out what was wrong, even after installed new sensors in the tires.
Took the bike out and went ridding, to finish off the season.
Now the bike is back in the BWM shop.
They have swapped out the sensors again, but still the computer will not read the sensors
Now they are telling me it is a computer problem, and the Germany is looking into it.
The tires are fine. They hold air
This is a nuisance item. Don't want the yellow light to keep coming on
Everything is under warranty, so I'm ok there
My 2 questions are:
1. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so do you know how they solved the problem.
2. I might have them take out the sensors altogether if they cannot solve the problem. End up with no TPS. Anyone done this
Thanks for your help
Michael
