Which dealer do you prefer in terms of service?

BMW of Manhattan
Bergen BMW
Cross Country BMW

anyone else?

I would go with Cross Country.
No actual experence with the other two. Rumors (hearsay) about BMW Manhatten are not good, and Bergen BMW is a long time Harley dealer. Would be interesting to hear from someone with actual experence with Bergen BMW.

I hope this doesn't turn into a mad dog dealer bash - I tried to be civil

I hope so too, i was just looking for an opinion, this is by no mean mean to be a bash of one vs another.

If you're in Brooklyn, I would also consider Max's BMW, which has a dealership in Danbury CT. They advertise free service pickups as far south as here on the northern Jersey Coast.

That being said, I've been satisfied w/ Cross Country.

Cross Country's service department has always done well by me.. despite my buying my R12R at the now defunct DeSimone motorsports (DeSimone offered me an absolutely silly high trade-in $$$ on my R1150RS - that they then resold 3 times.. possibly part of the reason they are now defunct.. buying high and selling cheap isn't a way to stay in business.)

Say hi to Joe and Brian in service for me when you visit.
