Hi Guys,
Forgive the noob but I am trying to work out what something is for.....
It is:
1 - Cylindrical - rubberised 50mm long, 20mm diameter.
2 - On the right hand side of the bike under the rear sub frame at the point where the passenger peg loops meet the subframe.
3 - Wired up.
OK, I give up. What does it do, and if I don't use it can I cut it off and terminate the cables?

As DJ said, it is for bleeding the clutch, there is a grub screw in the end and is housed in a foam of sorts and zip-tied out of the way. Pull the grub screw and insert a bleeder and you're good to go for changing the clutch fluid.

That is the "time delay trigger" for the clutch spline self-destruct mechanism. It is a top secret install done by Venusian Martians.

I thought they removed that on a safety recall.
