Where to mount a thermometer

I just purchased a Flomotion round thermometer with a adhesive back about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. I am looking for mounting suggestions.
Anyone have experience (good of course) in mounting one of these?

will it fit in place of the black plastic stopper in the center of the triple tree? Probably.
I had a wunderlich one mounted there on my 1150

Ditto, Wunderlich, "PoP" the cap & it slides right in, not sure about the Flomotion
