What kind of cage does an R rider drive?

As an '03 R owner, I've been able to identify myself with many of you on here who are...kinda different in your bike choices and viewpoints and other stuff.
I was wonder'n if this same distinctiveness applies to cars. I always selected different cars, and I'm just ordered a new RX8 this weekend with the two rotary engine ...yipee!
So, do you all drive something "different" too, or do you not care about cars? ...by the way, I'm still a bike fanatic first!

Yes, I care - not sure how "different" it is, but I drive a 2002 Subaru WRX sport wagon and love it. A four-wheeled boxer is the next best thing to a two-wheeled boxer! (Well, if you have to be on four wheels.)

Interesting... I'm in an '04 WRX wagon. Prodrive stage 3 power package, eibach springs (soon to upgrade to STi takeoffs...), Bridgestone RE-070s

3 WRX owners eh? I've met two WRX (one an STi) owners already in the Ontario BMW club.
So R owners love all flat engines in all forms!

I am a certified car freak with a 1996 BMW 328is which I bought new. 102K miles on it. I took it to the UK when I went over in 1998, and brought it back in Aug 2000.

The car has had a lot done to it mechanically but it actually looks bone stock (except for the M3 wheels). No wings, dark windows, or bling. Rear license plate frame says "I'd rather be riding my BMW".
I refuse to give up that car, even though I hardly drive it anymore.

When the weather doesn't allow pleasant commuting on a bike, I'll take my '94 rear-wheel drive Toyota truck that has 180k miles on it. Boy, do these things last! When I feel like driving something nicer, I'll take my '02 BMW 325i. Both of these vehicles have 5 speed transmissions.
I chose an '05 Toyota Camry and an '05 Toyota Sienna as company vehicles. Modern day Toyotas are very cushy and a bit soft (too soft for my personal tastes). But this makes them ideal choices for long-distance trips for business. Flying from my home town in the Appalachian Mountains is a very expensive option. If I have to travel across the country, I wind up driving four hours north to Dulles Airport right outside of Washington, D.C. to fly.
In the future, I'd love to get a small convertible runabout akin to a Mazda Miata, a BMW Mini, or (dare I dream) a Lotus Elise.

A 2000 Mercedes E320. But only because a @*#$& driver wasn't paying attention, didn't see the traffic jam, and rear-ended my blessed 1995 E300 Diesel at 60 mph. That happened 15 months ago. That car had 150,000 miles on it and ran like a top. Still hacks me off.
Its been a good car, but lately I've been thinking about trading the E320 in for something a bit smaller and quicker. Maybe a 3-series beemer, or one of the few manual tranny Mercedes C-types.

Well, the wifes got the Subaru Forrester for transporting the dirt magnets... me? I have a Ford KA.... pronounced "kaa"!
Damn near cheaper to run than the bike!

hah! I drive a 1996 Ford (cli) TAURUS with 184k miles on it...
Hope it last at least until I pay my bike off... I can't afford two vehicle payments, and I'm NOT giving up the 1150r...

Subarus are popular! Must be the boxer engine.
Still have my 97 Impreza sportswagon with 200,000 trouble free kms on it.
Also have a Holden Cruze AWD that replaced a Suzuki Vitara soft top.
And I have my 1925 Humber Tourer!
Have also had an MG Midget, Bolwell Mark 7 Coupe and E Type Jaguar, amongst many other more boring vehicles, as well as a long history of bikes.

My wife drives a 2005 VW Jetta 2.5 with 500 miles.
My employer provides me with a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 that I have put over 138k miles on it. It has been a solid truck.
If I am on my own time I ride the R.

i have a 2003 audi a4; my girlfriend has an suv (gads!). i was all happy, saving gas $$ using my bike exclusively the last few weeks--today she calls me and says she's using my car while i'm at work to save her gas....hmmmm, wondered why the tank looked low. there's a lesson here somewhere.
