K/RS mirriors

Somewhere on here I saw where someone "weighted" the K/RS mirrors on their Rockster or Roadster,..just wondering why ? As to why I ask.... I have those mirrors on my Roadster.

If you're talking to me ? I can't find it now ...sorry! But it was photos of a guy who had drilled the bottom of the mirror(s)...and weighted them with [shot] , and glue
