Short Story

A group of us were in the South Western VA mountains this past Sunday scraping a peg or two.
After a particularly good stretch (Up to Tuggles Gap), we stopped to let some of the group catch up. Two white haired ladies in a van pulled onto the gravel by us and rolled down the window. I figured I was going to get a "talking to" for "zipping" around the corners so fast and scaring "normal" folks - but I walked up, smiled my brightest, and ask if I could help them.
"We just wanted to let you know that one of your friends pulled off the road about a mile back and seemed to be having problems"
I thanked them profusely and said we would send someone back to check.
It was just a great day all around.
