OK, I've now heard this mentioned a couple times - that the K1200R is being discontinued?!
Can somebody confirm or dispel this?

I thought I heard the ST was being discontinued? Maybe the KR will be limited edition?

I can see the ST being discontinued - it's ugly, has had bad press and I don't know if it's selling well.
But the K-R has had great press, it's selling well and it fits a niche in the market that BMW were looking to fill - I seriously doubt they'd drop it.

All wrong. Do you think BMW would spend MILLIONS of $$$ to develop the K1200R or the ST or the ______ just to go.....naaah, after less than a year of sales/availability? Rumor-mongering is what that is. They wouldn't be releasing a K-GT of it, especially since the RT is such an incredible ride.
BMW has always had weird bike lines (the GS/RS?), they won't bow to rumors nor peer(?) pressure now. Fuggedaboudit. Ugly or not, the ST stays, as will the K1200R.
