Hi all.

New Edition 80 owner introducing myself. Mostly Japanese owned previously with one of the highlights being a new Suzuki RG500 back in 1986.

I made a checklist of all the wants of my new bike, and the Rock' ticked the most boxes, tracked down a mint 2004 plate and I am really enjoying it.

Regards

Brian.

As long as you're consistent, it does not matter if you check it on the side or the center stand, just check it the same way all the time. Don't check it on the side stand one day and on the center another... Very wise men told me this, so it must be right!

One of the "add-ons" that I insisted on before picking up my ed80 from Bob's BMW was a center stand.

Just makes no sense to me to NOT have a stand on the boxer. Also have a touring windscreen.

Don't worry about funny engine noises. It's probably all in your head.

Funnily enough, I fondly refer to my pup as "The Tractor". Obviously when he can't hear, mind you   :D
