Any recommendations for 6k service in SFBay?

Hi all,
My bike just passed the 6k miles this Sunday. I'm looking for a good, but not outragously expensive shop to service it. SFBMW quoted me something like $800. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I have been happy with SanJose Bmw and from what I remember, my 6k service was around 400. The 800 you were quoted is way high!

Yes, BMW in San Jose or Cal BMW in Mt. View... Get quotes from those guys.
In August 2004 I paid $278.00 for the 6000 mile service at Cal BMW in Mt. View. I'm just not certain the guys in SF are all that together and feel the service manager might be in over his head.

Thanks a lot for the recommendations. I called Mnt View BMW. They suggested that I have the IABS fluids drained as well ($300). This is something that's apparently needed every other year. They quoted me $604, all inclusive.

My 6K (from SF BMW) cost $441. in labor and $19. in parts. That was 14 months ago. My ABS brake bleed earlier this year cost $203. in labor and $16. in parts.
No more labor charges...I do my my own wrenching now.

I've been going to California BMW in Mountain View for many years and have always been satisfied with their service. San Jose BMW also has an excellent reputation.
The ABS flush adds substantially to the service cost, but is probably worthwhile if the bike is two years old, even if it only has 6k miles.
Cal BMW has loaner bikes, but during the busy season, which has just started, you may get an earlier service appointment if you don't need a loaner.
