PLEASE refrain from extraneous 'chatter' in a sellers thread. Posts like: "Nice Bike", or "Your crazy, thats too much money" etc. are detracting from the sellers ad and shouldn't be there.

PLEASE post your email address. It is our policy that if you have anything to sell, or post a "WTB" ad, that you MUST have an email so that people can respond to your advert. If you don't include it, we will edit it and put it in. If your concerned about spam, and bots harvesting email names from this site (which I doubt happens), you can be creative with your email. Something like: markc at r1150r dot org will deter the bots.

PLEASE Send the seller a private email with questions about a sale. Posts like "sent a PM" don't always work because many people don't check the private message system on this board. Email is better! This will improve your chances of getting the item, as many sellers don't actually check this forum on a regular basis after they've placed their ads!

PLEASE let us know if your item is sold. Go back to the topic, edit it and put "SOLD" in the header so that we can catch it and delete it

Just wanted to add... The subject format should be something like this: FS: WTB: WTT: (location) What it is

It wouldn't hurt to add a price there too at the end.

ie.
FS: (Baltimore) R1150R stock seat $50


FS = For sale
WTB = Want to buy
WTT = Want to trade
