Information Needed R1100RT

Hello everyone,
I am looking to buy an R1100RT. I have never owned a BMW before and Am looking forward to the Purchase!! Here is my quandry: I am 5'6" tall, 185# with a 30" inseam and have heard that this bike would be a little too tall for me. I am planning on visiting my local BMW dealer tomorrow and try one on for size. I would like to hear from others who are similar in stature how they fit their bikes and what, if any, alterations they have done to their seat in addition to lowering the seat to the lowest setting, or will this be sufficient. I thank you all in advance for your input.

New kid on the block here..don't know if I'm.on the correct link...?
I need to know how else a r1100rt or a r1150rt
Can be lowered other than a custom seat
As I love these bikes but am short in inside leg ..
Any ideas anybody
