21 Day Western US Loop

A friend of mine and I recently completed a 21 day ride through 12 Western US States (Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Nevada, California & Oregon). I ride a 2001 BMW R1150R, while he rides a Suzuki V-strom. I created a blog of the trip (motogeezer.blogspot.com), and my friend created videos of some of the ride. We'd love to get comments or feedback on it.

Nicely done. Obviously a beautiful part of the world, but I'm biased.

Pretty sure I saw you guys on I-5 during your blast through Oregon. I wasn't able to catch up and flash an "R1150R.ORG" sign in the window.

Not sure why you didn't catch us. I'm sure we couldn't have been going much more than 80 on the I-5, since the V-Strom used fuel and oil too much when the RPMs got much over 6500. (I don't think I hit 6000 more than once the whole trip, myself.) It was a fantastic ride.

Nice trip! I am so jealous. The west is my next destination, though I doubt it will as extensive as yours.
