Thanks for your help and suggestions Found some help at a service station A mechanic with m/cycle experience Told him what you suggested HE WAS ABLE TO GET SPARK But weak spray of gas So He called a SF BMW dealer who helped to diagnose He recommended a new fuel pump One should here from SF By Friday...

On my road trip , ran fine but today Running fine @ 65 mph suddenly stops running , now turns over but won't start ! I Was towed to nearest town but 200 miles from a dealer will check fuse in the morning.
I am in rural Wyoming
Any ideas much appreciated

Copy that Tower worker, I will switch the coils and see what happens
It is a 2004 and is probably a good idea to renew them.
I will phone the nearest dealer and see to it

Hello I am travelling through the west. since Coloradb my rockster has started "loping on one cylinder and idles from 1200 to almost stalling. Before I go to the dealer, all things being equal ......could it be bad gas? No problem under power. My concern is ......lots of camping gear, two up .....

Installed mine two years ago on my Rockster and did not get shifter, but soon got used to shifting
Very comfortable on long trips

ahh good news and I am just up the road in Vancouver

Returned from a two day ride, cleaning off bugs and the high beam glass lens is cracked (no other damage). Bummer
I am new at this but it looks like $202 replacement or can one buy the glass only
Can anyone give advice on changing out the high beam?

I have an 80 ed alpine white #70/2003 first registered in 2004 (found it in Florida). My bike is now in Canada.
It is a great touring mount with the stock " BMW touring screen"
