according to the BMW motorrad press release, among the changes made in 2008 will be to the r1200GS, f650gs, new colors for the K1200r, and finally there would be a new more confortable seat for the pillion to the r1200r... So I´m just speculating here, but it seems to me that seat change is only ...

Beatiful....!!! , but i dont like the looks of the top case rack tough... too intrusive.., otherwise looks awesome...
If those could fit my BMW side racks, it could be by far, my first choice...

I have found that the "low" BMW seat is more confortable... the "normal" one feels it presses higher in my butt, more in my crotch than in my lower"soft" butt...

Is there any way to install or replace them with the nice xenon ones ??, i have heard that there is a sort of "conversion kit" around the market for replacing ordinary bulbs with xenon ligths...

30¨ inseam here.... no problem whatsoever, I have low seat, and I can place both balls of my feet down.... no problem with handling in parking lots... this bikes is awesome in low speed handling... as opposed to what you guys have said, i found the 800 in the test drive, feels taller than the r12...

I would test ride the R1200R first... the improvment over 1150 is substantial... it has more torque and testosterone... as a matter of fact it was ranked higher than the k1200r in the alpenmasters test which includes bikes from 3 different categories, over 20 bikes !!!... you should look this in the...

I did a 35-40 kph slide, helmet was bad scratched (specially the visor), protectors worked great... just a scratch in the black plastic protector, that I could easily hide it, and restore it when I sand paper it....

Actually I prefer the low seat than the standard one. I am 5´.6 with a 31´inseam so i feel myself better seated in the low seat, low speed handling is better, and i feel it softer than the stock seat...
