I've been using Panasonic for over 3 years now - no problem. Cant remember which model though... :-k
It is not certified for vehicular use, but often used on electrical generators, that also vibrate quite a bit.

I just wondering what happened to the bits and peaces that broke off. Are they still somewhere inside the cylinder head or found its way down to the oil pan.

when riding in NYC I'm getting around 30MPG (mostly 3rd and 4th gear) so your numbers are right there. On a highway its about 45 though.

I just slap mine (the one I got for the car) in the tank bag. Yes, I could register my motorcycle. No I haven't done it. Why should they care what vehicle I'm driving as long as they're getting their money? Dude! get one that is specified for the bike. It is twice chipper then a car... #-o I wish.....

Perhaps you can try mounting it undernear the beakster fender with some zip ties or 3m VHB tape (strong stuff!). That's where I'd try first because you cant see it, its completely RF transparent, its out there in front of the bike for early detection, and will provide the correct read angle to the ...

I use my bike for commute all the time. My combination of Garmin 2820 and XM radio with traffic service is about 90% effective although not chip... :shock:

I have a set that I bought awhile ago but never installed... I kind of like her naked!
I definitely don’t have the long bolts but those are easy to find. Have no idea what else I may be missing.
