Changing Footpeg Location on 2004 R1150R

Post by moshe_levy »

Hello All-

My fiance has been complaining of late that she feels cramped on her '04 R-bike. She'd like to move the footpegs down and forward about 1-2 inches. Does anyone make a kit that allows for such an operation? Thanks!

those are trick looking peg re-locators, and pretty inexpensive too. Can the stock pegs be used or do you have to chose from their selection?

Might want to check the impact on the rider's pegs. I've always found it pretty crowded for footroom when both pegs are in use.

Gosh....those are pretty good looking and the work that went into them, plus anodized.....definitely a bargain for the money.

qfman does make a good point regarding clearance........ 8)

Guys-

These are nice passenger peg relocators and all, but the R1150R in question is her bike, as in she's riding it herself. I'm proud to say she's no wallflower!

Anyway, I've seen some nice products from Suburban Machinery, but the footpeg kit + shifter peg extenion kit is about $275.00 all told. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other options - for the driver's pegs.

I have the fastway pegs they lowered and moved a bit forward. Plus I needed to do nothing else to the shifter or brake.
