Anyone have an idea where one could acquire a spark plug wrench/tool that will fit down into the spark plug hole?

The Motion Pro #08-0239 tool works well.
Re: Spark Plug Tool/Wrench
Don't they have one in the tool kit that comes with the bike? My 04 1150R came with one.
Re: Spark Plug Tool/Wrench
No it doesn't - so, as much as I hate to say it, screw the next owner of your R1150R and keep the sparkplug socket and other special tools out of the kit.taosports wrote:Don't they have one in the tool kit that comes with the bike? My 04 1150R came with one.

I got mine on eBay. You can also order it directly from Motion Pro (http://www.motionpro.com), and I believe it's also stocked by some of the big motorcycle parts distributors like Dennis Kirk, Chaparral, and MAW. It's usually described as "Motion Pro 5/8 in. Spark Plug Tool for Four-Strokes" or something like that.

Or you can get an automotive spark plug socket and grind down the outside by holding with an extension and rotating it against your running belt sander while periodically dipping it in water to preserve the hardness of the steel.
