IMHO, get the "standard cruiser".. it's what I use. I also have the "Sport Touring", but find it has a completely different shape that doesn't work that well with a seat that has a curve upwards in the back like the stock R12R seat. The Cruiser XL would be way too big for the R12R seat. Let me see if I have photos of both on the bike..

I have to try the Sport Tourer on a longer ride. I only had it on for a day or two.. the rear of it tended to blow up with air and press against the back of my butt. Other than that - it was quite comfortable. It might be a case of having to move it around a bit for the best fit, but I have a feeling it's designed for a flatter seat than the BMW R12R seat (especially the low seat, which is more bucket shaped than even the regular height seat..)

Indeed there is.. in this case, I was assuming a male with the usual accessories.

I have the tall seat, and as you can see it doesn't have the "curve", so the sport version should be okay for me:

Indeed - the sport/touring might work fine on your seat...

BMS Rocks!

Yesterday I rode 100 + miles up to Bill Mayer Saddles, had to be there at 7am so I was treated to a wonderful dawn ride. I discovered the heated grips really work, if may hands are warm, the rest of my body seems fine. At BMS they fitted me for the new saddle, It's ruffly 1.5 inches back and 1.5 inches taller. After installing the new foam I took a 15 minute test ride, before they covered it in black leather. I was back on the road by noon and man-o-man is it wonderful. Between the new saddle and the lower pegs I feel like I could ride all day, and yet I'm not sitting so high that it wasn't still wonderful in the canyons around Ojai.
Of course now I need bar risers, (my lovely wife hated to hear that) and then it will be perfect, until I NEED a wind screen, or....
I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

The tall seat is flatter, so avoids most of the sliding forward. First few rides on an 11k bike it really seems stiff. Seems that is actually has less seating surface area cause they trimmed off the sides to allow a persons legs to drop straighter to the ground. So far I like it.
