I know that some of you guys are using spark plug Autolite 3923.
I while back I was changing the plugs on my car and sales person at the AutoZone store recommended Bosch Platinum Fusion plugs. After installing Bosch plugs, I was impressed with the performance of the engine and increase of the gas mileage.I don't know what is the difference between Autolite 3923 and Autolite XP3923, but Autolite XP3923 crosschecks with Bosch Fusion 4503. I am just wondering if anybody ever used Bosch Fusion 4503 on BMW R1150R and what was the outcome?
If I can get the same results from my bike, like got from my car, I would be very happy.

It's a fine Iridium wire plug. They are desireable for their very wide heat range and superior wear resistance. Buy them where you can find them!! For more info:
Thanks CycleRob.
Of the two spark plugs Bosch 4503 and Autolite XP3923 which one is more superior and more suitable for R1150R.
Bosch plug does not need gaping but Autolite needs to be re gaped. What would be the correct gap for the Autolite plug?
Thanks for the help.

I've used both Bosch and Autolite plugs, but did not observe one was better than the other, even though that's likely the case. Champion is the only brand I avoid because of disappointing past experiences with them. Bosch, AC Delco, Autolite, Nippon Denso and NGK are all good.
Thank you all for the input.
Since I am very much satisfied with performance of the Bosch spark plugs in my car, I will install Bosch 4503 on my 2002 R1150R. I just did the valve adjustment and changed the oil. Even tho the bike is not ready for the new spark plugs, I will install them any way, Bosch 4503 Fusion plugs. I have 3k trip coming up and it will be a good time to put new plugs to the test. I will post the results in a couple of weeks.
P.S. Congratulation on the new elected president of the United States of America.

As I did promise, I am reporting my experience with replacing original spark plugs NGK BKR7EKC-N with
BOSCH Fusion 4503.
I installed Bosch 4503 and rode my bike (about 650 miles) to Atlanta, GA. On the road my bike did behave normal and I think,I was getting a bit better gas mileage, but at the stops with engine running at 1100 rpm, I did not like a couple of misfires like sounds. I had a set of original plugs with me and quickly replaced BOSCH 4503 with NGK BKR7EKC-N.
Autozone sells NGK plugs for about the same price as BOSCH Fusion. Autozone NGK part # 2095 (BKR7EKC-N)
I never did try Autolite 3923 and I can not comment on them.
