Looking for ideas on a chrome tip

Post by RVC7 »

Just removed my muffler today. Great sound! I'd like to see the different options of which chrome tips to install. After doing a search here, I only found one, a square one
from JC Witney. Could you show me some pics of your bikes? Thanks in advance.

I think that DJ had a nice tip on his muffler removal. Check some previous threads on his mod.

Since you're also in NJ, you might like the option I used: $8 tip from Strauss Discount Auto. Despite only 2 screws, it has stayed on solidly for about a year of use. Unfortunately, the finish has not held up so well. But again, $8....

Yeah.. I like the 'shorter and bigger' option.

This one is 2 1/2" dia.. It will take some spacing/packing to fit but looks great IMO.

The one that I use is 2" dia S/S and has gone a nice golden color.. like the cat.
