cee bailey seats

Post by bigsur52 »

Does anyone have experience with Cee Bailey custom seats? I ride a 04 1150RS. I'd appreciate any input into this.

I bought a K75 two years ago that had a Cee Bailey low seat on it. Was not custom-made, at least not for me, but it's the most comfortable seat I've ever had. Soft but not mushy. My longest day on the bike was about 350 miles and I was comfortable the entire time.
Hope that helps. Sold the bike about 4 months ago, bought a r1150r, and the stock seat on that bike isn't nearly as nice.
However, my wife hated riding on the back of the Cee Bailey. It really pushed her forward into me, and hurt her tail bone. So it was great for the driver, tough for the passenger, at least on the one built for the K75.
