ticking during downshift or when I let go of the clutch

Post by bshelton »

I have noticed a new noise and want to know if any of you know what it could be. during higher RPM downshifting to slow down, right before the clutch is already out (noise continues for about 3 seconds after clutch is already out) or when I let go of the clutch slow at low RPMs there is a ticking noise from either the right cylinder head or the front of the motor. It does not happen all the time but it is definitely a new noise. Suggestions on what it could be or ways to fix it?

Thanks
