Plug cap puller

Post by peter1951 »

Today I took delivery of a stick plug puller recently ordered from my local motorrad dealer for my 04 1150r twin spark . Prob is its too small and will not fit the recesses on the plug cap. Are there two sizes of these?

Cheers

I didn't think there were - but maybe there is.

Did you mention what bike it was for when ordering?

There's one size for single spark and a different one for the twin spark models. Sounds like you may have received the wrong type.

That is correct one for single spark coils and one for 2 spark, the best is just use wide bladed screw driver at front edge of coil in grove and lever against head, as I have found I have to use screw driver to hold coil puller on any way.
the part #'s single coil 12122306064
2 coil #12137673248 both priced @ $2.79

Screwdriver works very well, just as wellpuller was only £1.60. Thanks for the tip
