Maybe a dumb windshield question

Post by DeltaDagger »

I'm looking to improve my comfort level for long interstate travel this summer so naturally I'm looking at windshield options. There certainly is a lot of info here on different experiences. I really like the looks of the parabellum sport sheild. I searched and found a review where the OP said the top of the sheild flopped around too much due to the supplied mounts being too low and leaving too much unsupported distance up top. My question is would the BMW tall sheild mount work with this shield if I drilled my own holes and installed grommets of course? Has anybody tried this? Opinions?

Thanks

I read that post as well. I have a Parabellum tall sport shield on my RR and absolutely love it. I don't notice the top wobbling too much. I has great protection, no buffeting and works really well. One man's opinion.

Check for PM from me; have a 24" new condition parabellum shield made for the BMW tall touring mount all good to go. The answer for the interstate.
