Pirelli Sync tires

Is anyone running Syncs on their R, and if so, what size? I would like to be able to ride gavel roads for extend periods of time. Would this tire work?

I've used the Scorpion Syncs on Buell XB with 180 rear, and have a new set to try on Rockster this season. Only complaint for the Syncs is squaring-off for the rear due to soft compound and excess slab riding (but that's not the tire's fault). Did a wet/dry trackday with the Syncs and was surprised by the stick.

For Roadster and 170 rear tire width on OE 5" rim, you won't find a Sync to fit, unless you can get the 180 on it safely.

Regardless of tire, the small 17" front wheels on our bikes makes gravel travel a chore.
