HI, Gabriela, welcome.

the wiring harness is under the tank and out of Rover's reach.

Does the bike run?
Is gas leaking?
do all electrics work? eg the whirring from the fuel pump, the lights, blinkers, etc.?

do you know how to post a picture of the canine damage? Worth a thousand words, I hear.

Hi Gabriella,

Sorry for the news -

In any case, the dog must have an owner and an insurance -- Just make the claim and the insurance (or the owner) should pay the damage.

In Europe, if you run into a dog (or goat or chicken or whatever) and crash, the damages are paid by the owner of the animal ...

Regards

+1 with pictures being worth ........
Also look at the Max BMW parts fiche http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/ ... d=03252011 where you should be able track down exploded diagrams of different sections of your bike & names for the parts.
You can then get back to this thread with the names of the particular parts you're after.
How's that for a plan.

You could try Beemerboneyard (USA) http://www.beemerboneyard.com/ for used parts or cheaper new parts.
Motorworks (UK) http://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Home/index.php is also worth a try.

P.S. Did the ex become ex pre or post the canine carnage?
