IFR Check Ride

As of 2 PM today, I am an Instrument Pilot. Passed the check ride, and now nothing is going to bother me for the rest of the day. I'm off to Gillette Stadium with my girls to watch the unveiling of the new Super Bowl banner, watch Santana et. al. in concert, and incidentally take in the Pats-Raiders game. It doesn't get any better than this!

I, on the other hand, have fallen behind, what with the new job and all. I haven't had a lesson in almost 2 months! I'll be starting in again soon, though.

So, when are you going to make that pilgrimage to Sporty's? When you do, I'll spot for a quick ride in one of the glass pannel planes!

Congrats from one instrument pilot to another. I got my instrument rating courtesy of the USAF in 1988 -- still flying with them.
