OK, so I got the PCIII in and got it installed. BTW, there's no place to mount that PCIII but in the cargo compartment where the tool bag goes.
And you have to take the tank off as well, or at least loosen the tank up enough to move it back, which means that you have to take practically all the fairings and plastic pieces off.
There is a white electrical plug on the PC's cord that isn't identified by the DynoJet installation sheet that comes in the box. I'll have to call and see what the heck it is. Also, for some reasons, the tuner can't seem to communicate with the PC in order to get it custom tuned. Please look at the below thread for the dyno sheet that I've done before the PC III installation.

The big flat spot is still there but the overall curve is much smoother and you can feel the bike revving faster and accelerates better as well. I don't have the new dyno yet because of the fact that the dyno guy couldn't tune the lean spot out to get rid of the dip. That's something that he and I have to call DynoJet on. We plugged the PCIII into the laptop and it said "No Power Commander" where it's suppose to communicate with the laptop. The guy just custom map a GSXR1000 before me, so his laptop worked.
However, we did dyno the bike with the basic map that comes with the PCIII and like I said before, it smoothed out the power curve considerably and a gain of solid 5-hp and I think 2 or 3-lbft of torque. We didn't save the dyno sheet because we wanted to custom map the bike and see what it really does with the Power Commander working like it's suppose to.
I'll keep you guys updated.

Update:
The tuner's Dynojet software was outdated so that's why he couldn't tune the bike the week before. The bike is now tuned with the big flat spot dialed out of the mid-range. The tach needle sweeps smoothly without any hesistation. There's a gain of 4-HP and 4-lbft of torque. Not much, but that's not what the PC is about. The power curve is smooth and the torque curve doesn't have the bumps and dips in it any more. The bike powers out of corners with authority instead of lethargy now.
So, is it worth the money? It is for me but I can't speak for others. If you are satisfied with the stock bike, then it's a waste of money. If you want to have your bike running not all leaned out in the middle range, or do away with the surging problem at low speed, then it's worth the money.
$500 for the PCIII plus about $250 for installation and tuning.

The dyno guy will email me the graph and then I'll post it. I've heard second-hand stories about Techclusion and Ztechnik chips don't work that well, but that's all second-hand stuff. The Power Commander works for me.
