Lowering muffler re full sized left side bag

Post by jsqueri »

I ordered a lowering kit for my 03 rock so I can get a full sized left side bag mounted. I only got 2 parts and no instructions.

Has anyone done this change? If so what am I missing?

I think you need to take the two little screws out and take the black plastic foot off the pillion foot peg and put it onto the bracket..(or just buy another one)

So I think you should have a bent tube/pipe...and a little bracket (two flat pieces)...I think you should also have another clamp?...and a few screws or bolts.

I've got a pic here somewhere....I'll post it for you.

I'll try and post it soon...(I'm just about to leave for work right now)

You work? When do you find time with all the riding and photography you do?

I'll post a pic in a bit showing how it looks assembled.

No matter how many times I use the internet, I still can't beleave how it works. That bent pipe is just what I need. It would be nice if the dealer knew it too, but he will now.

Thanks for the photo.
