Will a front fender from a Rockster bolt up to a R1150R front end without a lot of hassle?

hassle, yes...
rockster shares the r1100s front end. you can bolt on a KRS, RRS front fender to the Roadster

My answer is..No.

It's a different fork and different mounts.

I have seen a Roadster beak mounted on a Rockster...with a bit of mucking around.

I've never seen a Rockster fender on a Roadster.

I would like to see it done...there must be a way.

The rockster does share the front end with the S but the Roadster does not and so you can not just swap mudgards. I think that the RS front will however fit.

It will. Here's the RRS front fender with LT inner mudguard on my RR. Both the KRS/RRS fenders, and LT inner mudguard are easily installed on the RR and are direct bolt ons.

BTW, I still have this setup (minus the LT mudguard) after having sold my Roadster. PM if interested...
