I am starting to covet those tan seats.
Thanks, my face muscles are getting sore already!
Is the tan seat I have very rare?
I hope so, the color combo was love at first sight for me, and since I'm new around here I just don't know how common it is.
I just finished de-badging, and installing the optional brake light kit, and love how much brighter it is.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to get a few hundred mile on her.
Very smart bike, but I'm sure I could not live with the tan. Call me old fasioned but I like a black seat. The only colored one that I liked was the dark red on my old R1100R. But as long as it makes you happy thats whats important.
Hello!
Now that is a NICE bike! I've always been a fan of that colour combination.
Is this your first BMW? If so, welcome to the wonderful world of german engineered motorcycling!

It is my first BMW bike, but I also have a 06' 325xiT SportWagon, and have long been a BMW enthusiast. The cars and bikes have the same wonderful german engineering. That's why it was a no-brainer for me to buy the r1150r
I am in Chicago, north-side.
I bought it at Chicago BMW from Mike. Super nice guy.

Thanks Pal! you know when the wife and I were looking for a new bike, BMW, we were actually trying to get one with the biege seat but our dealer could not source one, and I guess BMW isn't offering them in Canada any more
