My Beakster Shirt is Finally Done!!! :)

Post by frozennorth »

Just thought I would post this. I finally got my shirt back from the screen printers :D

Mrs. Frozennorth did the illustration and with some help from my production manager at work, I've got my very own Beakster shirt. Had fun playing with the Beak nickname that the Roadster's get.

I had to make a dozen at the screen printers. With the ones that are spoken for I've got 7 left. 1 mens M, 3 mens L, and 3 mens XL. I might have a ladies large also. PM me if you want one, they cost me about $25 CDN per shirt (I know, I got raked) but that's what happens with small quantities.

Anyway, let me know what you think of the shirt!

Cheers :D

Leo (and S.O.) Great job!

Maybe we should have some printed up with the R1150r.net address too? Frozen, do you like that idea? How many people would be interested in this if we had a large order placed?

If we bought 50-100 shirts, I'm guessing the price would drop to $10-15 (plus maybe $5 for shipping). Leo, can you ask the screenprinter? I can help with the artwork if you like (source files/assembling, etc). If this went forward, we would need someone to handle the money gathering and sizing requests, and someone to assist with shipping - we wouldnt want to lay all of this on Frozennorth.

Go here to vote if you are interested in a shirt (and didnt get a chance to get one on Frozennorth's first batch) so we can get an idea:

Hi all:

I am just leaving for 3 days to do some riding. I will be back on Tuesday. So far, I don't have any XL's left and have 1 large and 1 medium left. Doug, you get your shirt free! When I get back we can chat about another order if anyone wants some more. I think adding the forum web address is pretty easy, although it will require new screens made for the front or back.

In any case, glad you all like the shirt. Mrs. North is pretty tickled :D

Saw Doug's post for a T-shirt .... I'm game for one. Butany ideas how to get them to the folks out of the States? Of course postage would be higher for one ... perhaps a secured pre-payment by PayPal?

Cheers

Back from my ride and meetings out of town. OK, All the XL's are gone and one large is gone. That leaves 2 mens large and 1 mens medium.

All of you that PM'd me, I will email back shipping cost later today hopefully.

Doug, after you finish the poll, let me know if you think you want to do more shirts and I will contact the printer. I think to be on the safe side, we'd probably want to take orders, then make up those and a few extras??? We could also do orders and pre-pays via a PayPal account. I don't mind organizing shipping etc as long a people are patient as I sometimes need to disappear for a few days because of work.

Just to keep the confusion to a minimum. I've been out of town so have not been able to respond to PM's etc. Sorry.

I will email shipping costs etc. later today when I get a chance.

The 5 shirts that are gone so far went to Ken, Doug, Dwayne, Gelbe Kultur, and DJ Downunder. I will contact you guys/gals as soon as I get a chance. Need to work and pay some bills first :(

Cheers

I'm closing this thread so there is no confusion. The new order for tshirts is here:

http://r1150r.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=6963

Look at page 3, about 2/3rds of the way down for buying info and pics.
