Back in '02, the next door BMW shop had bought a package of 20 YJ's and had to find out, that they were hard to sell to the typical German BMW customer. So they offered a free paint job for potential buyers (that's how I got my dark ferro beauty way back in 2002...).
I reckon, BMW's package sale of YJ's is an indication for wrong market estimates. At least here in Germany, I see quite a few of them, but hardly any with the original YJ paint job.
