"Market Launch Equipment"?

Post by AllanCook »

When I was at my dealer this morning consigning my Bonneville, I got a printout of the bike that is making its journey across the Atlantic to me. Among the options was "992 Market Launch Equipment." No cost.

Anyone have any idea what that might be? I'm imagining a T-shirt, key-ring or other tchotchke. Although I'd sure like them to throw in a sport shield.

I'm not sure if I'm one the right track here..but it might mean what extras it comes with standard.

Down under..we got the R1150R with fly screen, heated grips and the pannier rails for no extra cost.

I talked to Mr BMW down under last week..he said they are not sure yet what options will come standard on the new RR.
