Rockster Pannier Question

hi folks,

I own a Rockster and i'm looking for some BMW system cases. A friend of mine has been in touch to say he knows of some panniers from a R1150GS coming up for sale.

The question is......

Are the GS cases the same fitment for the R?

Can anyone help with the answer please?

yeah - the GS and the R/Rockster are the only two bikes that have the cut down left pannier because of the higher exhaust.

(IIRC the RS has full-size panniers?)
