Hi from a new guy

Hi, I'm a member here so thought I'd post and introduce myself.

I'm in Roseville California (near Sacramento) Just bought my 1st BMW last Friday - an R1200R after a long time holding back on the test ride. As you all said if you ride it you'll want to buy it! Sure enough rode and bought same day - resistance is futile and no regrets - I love everything about the bike! (well except getting used to new turn signals after riding Japanese bikes). Appreciate all the info and interesting posts I've seen from you all already on this forum. I look forward to hanging out here, hopefully contributing, and riding!

Apparently inflicts new BMW owners...I'm already infected and I just got over Chromes Disease that I had with the HD.

Mark, No, it's not bad if you're aware it's happening to you. The key is to keep the checkbook or the Visa nearby. That way you'll be able to respond to any emergencies that arise
