** ANY R1200R OWNERS NEAR JACKSONVILLE, FL?**

Post by Lost Rider »

I just had a conversation with Rudy at Sargent Cycle, about seat's for the 1200R. He told me that they have a seat from BMW, but have yet to have their designer look at the bike.
In order for a production seat to be made they must first look at a bike at their shop to get the design process started.
If they get a look at a bike soon ( the designer is there until next friday, where he's going I don't know )they're talking about a fall-time release, but no promises were made as for the exact date since they haven't even seen one yet.
So, are there any 1200R owners willing to go to Jacksonville for a little R&D session? If so give Rudy a call, 1-800-749-7328 (M-F, 8-5 Eastern).
If there are no takers, I might consider making it a stop on an upcoming trip, but really don't want to head in that S.E. direction, at all. I just wandered FL last fall... but..
I'm not willing to part with my seat, and not riding my bike for 4-5 weeks for a custom job, but a Sargent seat is just what this bike needs....
Anyone want to take one for the team?
