UK Rocksters Meet-up

Post by riceburner »

Lo all.

It seems we're expanding our little group of Rockster riders so woudl anyone be up for a meet up and possible rideout sometime this spring?

I'd propose an initial meet at Boxhill in Surrey (I think most of us are london-ish area??) and a possible rideout - I'd suggest Mid-April for this?

Further, I propose we have a PROPER attempt at crashing the Boxertrix (http://www.boxertrix.com) Annual meet up in Burton. ;) This was a good day out when I did it two years ago (2005) with some lovely roads. :D I'll put up more details when they are available.

But for now - who would be up for a meet up in April??

I'd be up for this, especially for gate-crashing Gromit's partay! :D

I thought Boxertrix would be a cool sticker for the Rockster until I noticed the background graphics of R1100S....

They're allegedly producing some with the R1100S logo removed - so "just" Boxertrix, I'll be getting one. :) (Paul was kind enough to make me one up by hand for my last bike!!)

Time for a boing, I'll be trying to organise this for mid April-ish I think, can anyone let me know if there's a REALLY bad date for it?

Re the Boxertrix meet up invasion - looks like they're starting to fix a date... http://www.boxertrix.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4860

James,

Just a thought, are you still considering raiding the Boxertrix meet?

Any news on the Boxertrix stickers?

:)

This weekend ...

... I could probably do a Boxhill meet, if not an actual rideout.
