Stereo Option

Post by rmak »

I read on a thread here that someone had a stereo/am/fm/cd on an R12R. Is that a BMW option? I couldn't find it on the BMW homepage.
Where could I get one and how much are they?

It really would be nice to have some music with my ride.
Let's see... What would I listen to on a sunny day rolling down the highway? Anybody have any suggestions?

The wife and I listened to a book on tape yesterday on the way back from Huntsville Ala. Shure EC2 earbuds made it possible.

This thing is way cool and does well with all kinds of inputs available. I plug in my Garmin 376C with the XM and cruise in contentment. The Boss told me to puy it so she could talk to me, but likes the stereo also. We generally listen to Watercolors, which is a good Jazz channel.

I will be posting a new farkle report shortly on a new RAM box to hold my phone, which will also plug into the audio interface of the Autocom
