A brand new R1200R that looks like this:

look familiar ChiTown?
Now I've been riding for....hhmmmm..... more than 15 minutes
The new machine was smooth, powerful, nice on the highway and great in the twisties. It did very well on the tour from Ottawa to Cape Breton and return and a lot of weekend riding, and commuting, to the tune of about 160,000km.
Well guess what? I've just shifted to bike number 3 and the technology shift between the K75T and the R1200R is just as amazing as the shift between the R75/5 and the K75 was.
Wow
I've put all of 53kms on the R1200R and there is no doubt that this machine and I are going to get along just fine, thank you. Probably for the next twenty years, at which time I'll need a step through like the Honda Super Cub!
(now for the hard part - keeping the tach below 4 grand for the first 1000kms!)
I'll be around, there's some gorgeous riding, here in Eastern Ontario, so I'll pop a few pic's.
