Instrument Lights not working...

Hello all,

I have a 2004 1150R with almost 19000 miles. The instrument lights have all stopped working. I have checked the fuse and it is ok. I have also pulled and replaced couple of the bulbs and that did not remedy the problem. Outside of some form of a wiring harness or connection that is bad,or worse a "short" under the gas tank  what else may account for this. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Sounds like it might be from overly tight wiring routing. The stock wiring harness going to the handlebars/instruments are often tip-tied too tightly to the frame from the factory and don't have enough freedom of movement during turns. The result is broken and/or shorted wires. I'm guessing one or more of yours are broken.

I think FloridaBeakster is right... one of the wires might be broken!

Since they all went at once, I'd be looking for the common ground wire. Are your turn-signal indicators working?
